Terms of service

  • A full provisional licence with sharing licence information is required to attend lessons. 
  • Offers and prices are subject to change at 3 days notice. 
  • Only provisional licence holders are eligible for introductory offers. 
  • Only beginner pupils are eligible for introductory offers. Pupils who have booked their test prior to joining Walkers may not qualify for introductory offers. 
  • One introductory offer per customer only. Introductory offers may not be repeated. 
  • Introductory offers are for new customers only. 
  • Lessons may be booked singularly as long as one lesson is paid for in advance. 
  • Student discounts are for “pay as you go” lessons only. 
  • Manual lessons are 50 minutes long. 
  • Automatic lessons are 45 minutes long. 
  • Pass Plus and Motorway lessons are 60 minutes long. 
  • THIS BUSINESS IS OWNED AND OPERATED ON A FRANCHISE BASIS BY YOUR INSTRUCTOR. WALKERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF LESSON FEES PAID DIRECTLY TO THE INSTRUCTOR. 
  • Block booking payments are valid for a maximum of 12 months from date of purchase AND for no longer than 6 months from the date of the last appointment in respect of the scheduling of unused lessons. 
  • Any request to refund prepaid lessons must be made within 14 days from the date of payment. No refunds will be issued after 14 days. 
  • Any refunds of block bookings you will be charged the full rate of lessons taken and the difference refunded. Single lessons from a block are non-refundable. 
  • Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 6 months from purchase. 
  • Lessons may be postponed or cancelled, but at least 2 FULL WORKING DAYS NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN TO THE OFFICE. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the FULL relevant fees becoming due to the instructor. 
  • Test Packages may be postponed or cancelled, but at least 3 FULL WORKING DAYS NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the FULL relevant fees becoming due to the instructor. 
  • Intensive courses may be postponed or cancelled, but at least 10 FULL WORKING DAYS NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the FULL relevant fees becoming due to the instructor. 
  • All cancellations are accepted only at the discretion of the instructor and are liable to be charged for. 
  • Pupils may only use our cars for the test when they are driving at test standard. This is strictly at the discretion of the driving instructor, whose decision is final. 
  • Threatening behaviour toward Walkers instructors or Walkers employees will not be tolerated! Walkers reserve the right to cancel part or full lessons in such circumstances. All fees with respect to cancelled lessons will remain payable to the instructor in their entirety. 
  • In the event of test failure under 20 lesson intensive or 30 lesson intensive, the “we pay your next test fee” arrangement applies to DSA fees only. 

Complaints procedure:
All complaints in the first instance should be directed to the instructor. If there are further disputes or complaints please raise the issue in writing to Walkers School of Motoring or by email to complaints@walkers4u.com.
